PhoneRaise Release Notes 2024

Check out the new features, updates, and bug fixes now live on the PhoneRaise web and mobile app.

• Bloomerang Integration:
  - We expanded the data imported from Bloomerang to include custom fields. The custom fields can be mapped to PhoneRaise fields.
  - PhoneRaise imports and maps the recent donation amount and recent donation date fields when importing a CSV donor lists that includes a Bloomerange ID.
  - We updated the dynamic sync (manual update) for Bloomerang in PhoneRaise. The dynamic sync searches and imports newly added constituents using the limitations specified at the first import. 

• On the Assignments tab for Unengaged Campaigns, a series of configuration options were added to assist volunteers in remaining informed on their prospect lists. The following new features are now available on the Assignments tab in PhoneRaise: 
  
  a. Volunteers can be automatically notified via text message when new prospects are assigned. 
  
  b. New prospects can be automatically assigned to volunteers after completing their contacting assignments. The number of prospect contacts can be determined in the configuration. 
  
  c. Volunteers can now add and assign their own prospect contacts either by allowing access to the Prospect records or allowing volunteers to import contacts via Google Contacts. The Google Contacts import uses the Google People API to pull contact data into PhoneRaise. 

• From the Volunteers tab, you can now select multiple volunteer records at a time. The drop-down menu was updated to include checkboxes to simplify assigning prospects to volunteers. 

• Salesforce Integration:
  - We have updated the stability of importing/updating contacts with Salesforce. 
  - In addition to stability updates, you can now import full contacts from Salesforce to PhoneRaise. 
  - During the automatic (Dynamic Sync) or manual (Import/Update from Salesforce) sync process, all new Salesforce contact objects and report data is also synced with PhoneRaise. 

• Fundraisers that are residents of the United Kingdom can now use the PhoneRaise Volunteer Link! We added a UK based number to the Volunteer Link messaging service. A new field was added to the Fundraiser Edit and Add pages that when checked, enables a fundraiser to use the UK based number. 
  

• Charidy Integration:
  - The Charidy and PhoneRaise integration allows you to sync your contacts between both platform's campaigns.
  - In addition, the integration enables volunteers to send Charidy campaign donation pages to donors containing pre-filled form fields. PhoneRaise volunteers can provide donors with links to a Charidy campaign donation page containing pre-filled donor data.
• RaiseThon Integration: You can now match and sync your contacts between PhoneRaise and RaiseThorn campaigns. 

• For clarity, we separated the Integrations and API cards into different sections on the Campaign Settings Third Party Apps page. 
  
• We added the ability to include Salesforce or Bloomerang ID fields to the CSV imports. This allows Salesforce/Bloomerang integrated campaigns to seamlessly update contacts and records with matching IDs. 
  
• Zapier Integration Updates:
  - A number of Zaps were updated to reflect Touchpoints instead of Tasks, and Last Name changed to Primary Last Name for consistency.
  - The Bloomerang and Salesforce ID fields were added to the output of a number of Zapier Zaps.
  - You can now locate donors by their custom donor ID.
  
• Bloomerang Integration Updates: 
  - Bloomerang interaction purposes are now marked as 'Impact Cultivation' by default. 
  - We have updated the interaction channel matching to catch more of the appropriate fields to help assist with corresponding existing fields. 
  - The secondary contact information was removed from the import mapping.
  - A note was added to the PrimaryAddress mapping to indicate that the fields split to the correct fields during the import. 
  

  - Notes in PhoneRaise are now sent only as Bloomerang Notes, rather than as interactions.

  - The constituent's most recent donation amount and date calculation was added. 

• Some users reported that the Salesforce Update function was not mapping correctly and therefore, the records were not updated. We have resolved this bug, and the Salesforce Update is now working as intended. 

• A portion of users were experiencing errors after adding a single fundraiser. We have fixed this issue, and adding single fundraisers for all users is now operational. 

• Zapier Integration Fixes:
  - Two Zaps were previously only returning errors. These Zaps were updated and no longer return error messages. 
  

• Bloomerang Integration Fixes:
  - Updating data from Bloomerang was previously causing an error. This has been resolved, and updates from Bloomerang are now fully functional.
  - The import filter was updated to enhance effectiveness and capabilities.
