7. (Optional) You can add an additional Touchpoint task to the same Donor Journey. For example, when volunteers send gifts to donors and also want to communicate that a gift has been sent, create a Touchpoint task for the Gift and another for a Personal Email in the same Donor Journey.

Click ADD TOUCHPOINT to include an additional task to the Donor Journey and configure the settings as previously described.

8. Click on SAVE.

Configuring the Stagger Settings

When creating Donor Journeys, stagger the due dates to avoid overwhelming your volunteers/staff with multiple tasks due on the same day. Configure the Donor Journey start and end dates of each Touchpoint. This allows users a more manageable timeframe within which to complete their Touchpoint tasks.

  • Start by choosing the maximum number of Touchpoints that can be due on the same day.

  • Determine the days of the week to distribute the remaining tasks once the threshold is reached.
For example: Set the Touchpoint Threshold to no more than 3 Touchpoints with the same due date and only allow creattion Monday through Friday. Assigning 30 donors to a Donor Journey means that the Touchpoints are created and distributed over 10 days. This example ensures that Touchpoint due dates do not fall on the weekend.
  • Click SAVE to commit the Stagger settings to your Donor Journeys.

Deleting Donor Journeys

Delete unnecessary Touchpoints and Donor Journeys to permanently remove them from your Campaign Settings.

  • Clicking the DELETE button permanently removes the entire Donor Journey.

  • Clicking the Trash can icons on the Touchpoint task, permanently removes the specific task from the template.
