Manage and sync your donor contacts and reports by integrating PhoneRaise and Salesforce records. PhoneRaise allows you to connect your Salesforce account and provides a seamless view of donor data across PhoneRaise and Salesforce.  

Connect your Salesforce Account

Within the PhoneRaise Campaign, you must log into your Salesforce account and allow PhoneRaise to access the donor records. 

To connect a Salesforce account

1. Log into your PhoneRaise account. 


2. Click on CAMPAIGNS

3. Select the Campaign, and then click VIEW

4. Click on CAMPAIGN SETTINGS.

5. Click Third Party Apps

6. Click LOGIN TO SALESFORCE

7. Use your Salesforce credentials to log into Salesforce, and then click Allow

The page redirects back to the PhoneRaise Campaign Settings. 

Integration Settings

After connecting Salesforce to your PhoneRaise Campaign, you can customize how your donor records are synced between both applications. 

The integration settings are enabled by default, but can be disabled by clicking the slider to the left of each selection. 

Enable Dynamic Sync

Enabling Dynamic Sync allows PhoneRaise to automatically sync your donor contacts with Salesforce based on the mapped data that you selected during the Salesforce contact import. 


The PhoneRaise donor contact data is synced with your Salesforce data every 24 hours. Alternatively, a manual data sync can be performed from the Donors sub-tab. 

Create Activities/Notes in Salesforce

By selecting the Create Activities/Notes in Salesforce setting, activities and notes are synced to Salesforce. When a Touchpoint is completed (becomes an Activity) or Note is added to PhoneRaise, the Activities and Notes are automatically added to the donor's Salesforce record. 

Create Notes as Activities in Salesforce

By default, PhoneRaise Notes are mapped to the Notes section in Salesforce. Instead of adding PhoneRaise Notes in the Salesforce Notes section, the Create Notes as Activities in Salesforce setting adds notes to the Activities section. 

Import Contacts from Salesforce

After connecting Salesforce to your PhoneRaise Campaign, you can import contact data from Salesforce by mapping your record fields. 

To import contacts from Salesforce to PhoneRaise

1. On the Campaign Settings page, click IMPORT/UPDATE FROM SALESFORCE.

2. You are redirected to your Campaign's Donor page. Click Import from Salesforce

3. Click IMPORT FROM REPORT

4. Click Select a Report, and then choose the report you would like to import. 

Select All Contacts to import all donor contacts. 

Optionally, you can copy and paste the Salesforce report Id into the SALESFORCE REPORT ID text field. 

5. Click IMPORT

6. Select either Append Data or Overwrite Data, and click IMPORT


Selecting Append Data allows you to add new or edit existing donors to PhoneRaise. By selecting Overwrite Data, the existing donors are removed and replaced by your new donor spreadsheet. 

7. The Import from Salesforce page appears. Use the drop-down menus to select the mapping between your Salesforce and PhoneRaise records. 


You MUST include a contact ID to use the automatic dynamic Salesforce updates. 

8. Verify the records, and click IMPORT

9. Click Yes to import Salesforce contacts. 

Manually Update Contacts from Salesforce

You can manually update contact data from Salesforce to PhoneRaise from the Donors sub-tab. 

On the Donors sub-tab, click ADD DONOR - Update from Salesforce.
