Bulk-adding data about your donors into your PhoneRaise Campaigns lets you incorporate names, contact details, donation specifics, and custom fields simultaneously.
After formatting your donor spreadsheet, you can bulk-add donors to the PhoneRaise Campaign.
To import donors in bulk
- Download your formatted donor spreadsheet as a Comma Separated Values (.csv) file.
- Log into the PhoneRaise webapp.
- Click on the CAMPAIGNS tab.
4. Locate your campaign and click on VIEW.
5. Click on the DONORS sub-tab.
6. Click on the ADD DONOR drop-down menu.
7. Click on Import CSV.
8. Select Append Data or Overwrite Data and click on START IMPORT.
Selecting Append Data allows you to add new or edit existing donors to PhoneRaise. By selecting Overwrite Data, the existing donors are removed and replaced by your new donor spreadsheet.
9. Click on Upload data from file.
Optionally, the donor data can be manually imported. Copy and paste the data into the empty fields and click Continue.
10. Select your donor .csv file from the upload menu and click Yes to import the spreadsheet using the column headers.
ℹ️ We recommend the donor data spreadsheet include a header column. The column headers are used by the import tool to assign the correct field mapping.
11. Review each matched field and click Confirm mapping for all correct matches.
The import tool recognizes the data by column headers. Carefully review and confirm each instance that appears to ensure that your data is imported correctly.
12. (Optional) If a suitable match is not found, the column can be ignored by clicking on Ignore this column.
By ignoring the column, the data for the entire column is not imported into the Campaign.
13. (Optional) If a suitable match is not found, select the import column by clicking the drop-down arrow and selecting the available matching field options.
14. (Optional) If a suitable match is not found, click Include as custom field.
Including as a custom field adds your field column to your list of donors managed in your Campaign.
15. After verifying each column field, click on Review.
16. Optional) Toggle on or off Only show rows with problems to filter rows that may still be mismatched.
This toggle option provides an additional opportunity to verify the donor data import is accurate.
17. Click on Continue.
18. Click on Yes to complete the donor data import into the PhoneRaise campaign.
